The sayings "Where did the time go?," "I can't believe it's been a year already!," and "Time flies when you're having fun!" are just some of the things we have been saying over the past year. Well, we can't say it was always fun, but it's always been an adventure and all of these sayings apply to Dockside Manor
It's been almost a year and Dockside Manor is hitting its stride. The 6-month project that started as a remodel went into a full gut job. Blood, sweat and tears, as well as late nights and early mornings made this one of the most extravagant vacation rentals for us to date.
One of the most substantial capacity dwellings in the area with over a combined 4200 sq feet. Including six beds, four full baths to accommodate 21 people, or the convenience of two separate living areas can hold multiple families.
The conversion of a run-down garage into a rustic industrial bar/game room was equally daunting. Unfinished wood walls accented with tin roof metal and bluestone walls is the envy of any local pub. In addition to the custom pool table, darts, and large screen TV, it also has an indoor/outdoor speaker system. The outdoor fun continues with a recently added hot tub, multiple patio areas, a significant level yard equipped with a swing set, horseshoes, a barbeque grill, and a custom fire pit. Upon approaching the 180 feet of lakefront dock space, you come across a modest size screen house, including with nine lawn chairs, a second barbeque grill, kitchenette, and refrigerator. There is also a floating dock for when you want to take the plunge and access to three kayaks, three paddle boards and all the fresh, Adirondack air your lungs can handle!
