Halloween Festivities in the Lake George Region

Halloween is just around the corner, so it's time to plan your spooky and fun festivities.

Fright Fest is back at Six Flags Great Escape. Bring your family for Halloween activities to Boo Fest by Day. Younger kids can enjoy the Trick-or-treating Trail, Monster Mash Dance Party, Halloween Costume Contest, Children's Hay Maxe, a Scavenger Hunt, stories, and more.

In addition to all the rides, the park transforms into monsters and scares by night for Fright Fest. You will surely get chills with haunted houses, scare zones, events, and shows!

Head to Boo 2 You in downtown Glens Falls for daytime family fun. Dress up for trick-or-treating, a petting zoo, dance performances, and an all-around fun time for all ages. Boo 2 You is October 28. Staying in Bolton Landing on October 28th? Up Yonda Farm is hosting its annual Trunk or Treat event. Kids can decorate pumpkins, trick or treat among decorated vehicles, and receive free books. Check out the wildlife exhibitions and the live raptor display. The event will run, rain or shine from 3-6 P.M.

Fort William Henry has hundreds of years of history from countless battles, diseases, and harsh climates. If you like eerie, the Haunted Mystery Tour brings you to grounds where spirits still roam, and you will hear ghost stories that have been passed down, along with the personal experiences of the guides themselves. Reservations are recommended.

Year after year, the Lake George area offers Halloween activities for everyone. Bring your family for a weekend getaway, stay with Northern Living and get in the Halloween spirit. Or plan a friend's trip, take a haunted tour by candlelight, explore the area, find a corn maze and haunted house and have a screaming good time.
